A New Chapter: Growth, Vision, and What’s Next

Hi there,

I wanted to share something important with you—not just about my work, but about where I am as an artist right now.

There’s been a shift happening behind the scenes at theresazingg.com. A real one.

If you’ve been following along, you may have felt it too. The work has been evolving, questioning itself, stretching. That’s because I’ve been moving through what I now recognize as the four phases of the creative cycle: exploration, refinement, tension, and rebirth.

Right now, I’m deep in that tension phase—the place where things feel a little uncertain, where the old ways stop working, and the new hasn’t fully arrived yet. It’s uncomfortable, but it’s also where the most honest growth happens.

And growth is exactly what this is.

I’m rethinking everything:
– the subjects I paint
– the energy behind each piece
– the balance between power, intimacy, and connection
– how my work reflects who I truly am

What’s emerging is a new vision—one that feels more aligned, more intentional, and more alive.

You’ll start to see changes at theresazingg.com. New work. New direction. A deeper sense of purpose behind every piece I create.

This isn’t just a refresh. It’s a transformation.

If you’ve collected my work, supported me, or simply watched from afar—thank you for being here during this evolution. It matters more than you know.

I’m not stepping away. I’m stepping deeper into what this is meant to be.

More soon,
Theresa
